Bringing Home an Elitehaus Protection Dog: The Process
We are committed to setting you and your new protection dog up for success—whether you're selecting a fully trained adult, a young prospect for custom training, or a puppy we will raise and develop for your specific needs.
1. Selection & Consultation
The journey begins with a personalized consultation to understand your lifestyle, goals, and expectations. Based on this, we will:
Match you with one of our fully trained protection dogs ready for placement or
Offer a selection of puppies or young dogs that can be trained specifically for your environment, routines, and desired protection level
Our goal is to ensure a perfect match in both temperament and ability.
2. Meet & Greet at Our Facility
Once a potential match is identified, we invite you to our facility for a hands-on introduction if desired. During your visit, you’ll:
Spend time interacting with the dog
Observe a training session
Learn about handling, commands, and expectations
Begin building a relationship with your future companion
For clients purchasing a fully trained dog, this is where you’ll also receive one-on-one instruction in how to confidently handle your new dog and maintain their training at home.
3. Transition & Delivery
After your on-site handling sessions are complete, your dog is ready to begin life in your home. We offer two transition options:
Pick-Up at Our Facility: Continue building your bond while receiving hands-on support
Delivery Available (Additional Fee): We can professionally transport and hand-deliver your dog, including a handling session at your home to ensure a smooth transition
Each dog is accompanied by a detailed training packet and ongoing support as needed. We recommend refresher training sessions every 6 months to keep their obedience and protection work up to par. We offer private lesson sessions or board and train options, and have a transport service if needed.
